The Obsidian solution enables personal phone numbers and email addresses to be 'whitelisted' so that these communications are not recorded. This process is managed at administrator level to ensure no misuse, and provides users with peace of mind that personal communications are not being recorded. Which in turn enables easier adoption of the technology amongst the user community.
4. Real time message capture
Many message capture systems rely purely on BlackBerry® Exchange Server (BES) log files. Our method ensures continuity in the case of BES downtime, as messages are captured in real time, not historically.
This also allows Mobile Compliance Suite™ to capture data that bypasses the BES, as many web-based messaging services do. In addition, because the call is captured at the handset, this enables messages from non BES-linked devices such as smartphones to be recorded, which expands the scope of mobile users who can be compliant.
5. Unchanged user experience
The short connection delay is masked by dial tone on outgoing calls and a recorded compliance message on incoming calls. Full CLI presentation allows users to recognise and return calls in the normal way, whilst full DTMF tone functionality allows users to access voicemail and so on.

Mobile Surveillance Module™ monitors the electronic communication flow in real time and sends alerts, based on predetermined rules which each customer can specify, allowing them to immediately act upon any potentially damaging information.

Our compliant storage option is a flexible engine that provides storage, recording, archiving and retrieval of all forms of electronic communications. It can be utilised to provide a single enterprise-wide search interface for all mobile communications, irrespective of where they were originally recorded and archived.
